Well, it is very wintery here at home! The first winter solstice I can remember where we have had snow!
I have spent my day off decorating for the season with evergreens and some paper decs that I found on Shimelle's blog.

What a wonderful day!
I've had a fantastic Samhain today (apart from still suffering with my throat). I dressed all festively (even though I was staying at home) in black leggings, denim skirt (not festive I know, but comfy!!!) and a cobweb top :0)
I completely reorganised my craft room (which I hadn't planned but was wonderful to do as it just didn't feel 'right' in there. Then I set to catching up with my projects - which I did (yay me!!!! Photos to follow in another post later today)
Next I carved the pumpkin and as the sun set lit candles.
Then I couldn't resist a few pics!!

Tree hugger
I just had to have my photograph taken with this amazing Pine tree in the park at Malvern. We had only just arrived for the traditional Beltane Well Dressing day out and I was really excited to see this years wells. The sheer size of this tree struck me more this year than it ever has before. It must be so very very old. I'm sure the world around it has changed an enormous amout while it continues to slowly grow and survive in a world that no longer reveres its kind.
