Confession time...

Right, here I am in my craft room. Preparing to scrapbook. Feeling a little apprehensive and unsure. Scrapbook. Hmmmm. You know, that thing I used to do everyday. That thing that I haven't done for, oh I don't know, about two months! Looking around. Lots of pretty things everywhere! Just not sure I quite remember what to do with them! Right! Photo, paper, double sided tape. How hard can this be...

Art Journaling

I am LOVING my art journal! I only discovered art journaling fairly recently and have launched myself into it as part of the amazing 'Soul Restoration' class over at Brave Girls Club.
There are some great technique videos and inspirations over there if you are like me - someone wo never did art at school and really hasn't got a clue!!
One thing I have discovered is art is one thing, journaling is another but art journaling... thats a WHOLE thing on its own!!
Does anyone have any favourite art journal blogs or websites they can recommend to me?
I'm really looking for inspiration and am collecting links on Pinterest to inspire me.

Awkward silence ...

Well, I blogged everyday...then I went AWOL..then I came back and promised to blog everyday again...then I went AWOL...now I'm back again...cue awkward silence!

Back to Blogging!!

Well, I've taken a l'il break from blogging as I knew something exciting was coming up and today it arrived! Blogging for Scrapbookers is back!!! I enjoyed the original class couple of years ago. Shimelle is offering the original class again here. There will be a second version of the class once this is done! Exciting!!!!

Are any of you joining in with the class? Is it your first time round or are you repeating like me???

I'm planning on rekindling my love of blogging with it!

Art Therapy

As you probably saw (before I vanished off the face of the Blogsphere for a few weeks!!), I have decided to embrace my inner artist and coax her to fly!
I've discovered a lovely lady online called Suzi Blu who is totally eccentric and 100% talented! She is offering online workshops so I have joined up for her La Sirene workshop (focussing on Mermaids). I really can recommend a look at her work by CLICKING HERE! Her videos have had me crying with laughter and also completely inspired to create!

Hello again!

The last few months have been tough tough times. As I was living through them I thought they would break me, but now I've emerged at the other side of them I feel stronger than before and so full of life and hope.
I am grateful for the bad times as the make the good times even better!
