I've been working on my goals

I've been absent but busy blog friends!
Work is super stressful and I'm trying to block if from my head as much as possible. The past few weeks that's involved a little too much wine for medicinal purposes but lately I've moved on to healthier healing!
Such as my art journal:

And creating my goals 'board'. I'm using a pretty peg garland I have and hanging goal bites from the pegs:

(this photo is poor as the light in here now is subdued and relaxing!!! Not ideal for phone photos!!!!)
How are you all? Any new projects? If so add a link in the comments and I'll pop over for a peak!

Projects from the past week

I've had a busy week this week with lots going on at work and lots oftidting and throwing things into a skip to prepare for our extension.
I've finally got my house scrapbook up to date.  I'm using the Pink Paislee album and varied page protectors.  I bought this last year fot One Little Word, but as I dodn't do as well on that project as I'd hoped I wanted to use it for something better.
Here it is so far... ... ...
The first page:

The second page shows the plans and includes journaling and more plans tucked behind a transparency.  The facing page in the album is all the building reg info we will need as work begins. I wanted this to be a working scrapbook!!

I used the split page protector to document the dramas of getting a mortgage extension to pay for the work:

And to document tidying the garage using Instax photos!

I'm liking this scrapbook already :-)

Goals for the week ahead

I've realised thay by setting myself so many goals for a week I am pretty much setting myself up for failure (which is never a good thing!)
So this week I have decided to chose just one goal for each life area.  I have also decided to remove work from these weekly goals.  As most of my time is spent at work I think I'll keep its goals there!!
  • BIG Goal: Eat at the table every night
  • Crafts: Place photo order
  • Spiritual: Cleansing week for The Quickening
  • Home: Goals board!
  • Health and Wellbeing: Go to bed before 10 on work nights!
  • Art: Work on my Grids AJ page.
Lets see how I get on with this lot shall we!?

My BIG goal by the way, is to have a much happier, healthier and satisfying relationship with Keiron. For various reasons we have been drifting apart and things have been difficult for some time. I've realised we must make a conscious effort if we want things to get better, so this is my BIG goal!

WOYWW

My craft desk is full of piles of things as I've just got in from work. There is my iPad and current art journal. The current page I'm working on in my house scrapbook and journaling cards for it. My mortgage application paperwork signed and ready to go and my next kit unpacked and ready for a crafty weekend!
What's on your work desk this Wednesday?

Advice on goals!

I'm seraching Pinterest at the moment for ideas for a goals or vision board.  I have so much I want to achieve - both at home and at work at the moment. I work well when I can see what I need to do close to hand.  I write my goals in my journal or work books but somehow being inside a cover still isn't visual enough for me.
Does anyone have any ideas? The easiest option would be a cork board, but I'd like something prettier!
All advice greatfully received!
