Can anyone help???

I am hoping that someone out there may be able to come to my rescue before Sunday morning.
I am meeting with 5 friends on Sunday and we agreed a while ago to each bring some food to share for a meal.  We weren't as organised as to actually decide who was bringing savouries, sweets, nibbles etc!!
Its a very informal gathering so I don't need to create anything amazing. HOWEVER the event is held some distance from my home and I don't drive and won't be getting a lift as the others arrive from different directions!
SO...my dilema and plea... does anyone have any thoughts of something pre-made I can take with me that will be: YUMMY
            easy to transport via train
fairly easy to make (as I am working until 5.30 on Saturday!!)

I'd like to say a HUGE thankyou in advance to anyone who replies to this post. I really need the help as I am ANYTHING but a domestic goddess!!!

Pop to Lidls(yes Lidls!!!!) and buy their 24 mini frozen eclairs. The BEST I have ever eaten anywhere. They stay frozen for ages in the box.EVERYONE loves them.Plus they are only about £1.50!!! I have a freezer full and have been known to eat a whole box to myself over a day.

Oooh, nobody has posted and it's Friday! Sorry I haven't been by recently, it's been so busy here.

I had a think... I wonder if you might enjoy making "Christmas Baguette(s)"?
Buy:
- Turkey slices,
- Chipolata Sausages (or ready-cooked cocktail sausages),
- Sage & Onion Stuffing (ready made in a tin for the oven if you can, but packet otherwise),
- Crisp Salad Leaves (iceberg will do, or Chinese leaves, or Florette Crispy - anything with a little bit of bite to it),
- a jar of decent Cranberry Sauce,
- Mayonnaise or Butter.
- One or more Baguettes / Demi-Baguettes / French Loaves, or individual crisp French Bread Rolls (the bake-at-home type if you feel adventurous)

1) Bake rolls/bread if you bought that sort
2) Cook the Chipolata sausages under a hot grill, in the oven (when the stuffing is in there) or in a frying pan. Cool and slice lengthwise to give half-sausages. You can use ready-cooked Cocktail sausages if you don't want to cook them at home.
3) Make stuffing mix, if necessary, then bake stuffing in oven to crisp it up a bit (instructions may be on packet, 175 degrees C prob ok. Try 10 or 15 mins). Cool and cut up into slices.
4) Split the baguette/rolls horizontally along the length.
5) Spread with butter or a little mayonnaise
6) Put Turkey slice(s) along the length of the roll, so they fold over the top as well.
7) Inside the Turkey slices, lay crispy salad leaves, half-sausages, stuffing slices. Top with some cranberry sauce/jelly.
8) Close the top of the bread/roll. Wrap the whole thing in foil. Keep chilled overnight and pack up, still in the foil, to take with you on the train.
9) If possible, warm through in your host's oven or microwave, but this is nice cold as well.
10) Enjoy your Christmas Baguettes!

I do hope this idea suits you and is helpful.
Failing that, you could buy a microwaveable Christmas Pud (large), a pot of Double Cream (wrap it for transport!) and some decent ready-made vanilla custard. Take all this along, commandeer the microwave (you could call and check about that before you shop!) and heat it all up.

Have a lovely time!
