Found - one scrapper's mojo - Hoorah!!!

I've been a busy little creative bee today and am feeling very cheerful about it!! Here are a selection of the things I have created today:
Go Go Yearbook cover
Scrap Weekly Page - create a page with 'white' space :

A page from my GoGo January kit:
I originally started this page for Scrap Weekly, but as I added to it the white space kind of dwindled really, hence creating the page above for that challenge instead!!

Love in a coffee cup - 'Latte Love' mini book:
This is the project I started for valentine's day, but it had to go on hold as I didn't have a coffee cup!!!! We popped for a Costa the other day and I saved the cup and could finish the project. I LOVE it and will be popping back to The Little Light Studio to buy more goodies in the future. They have a non-valentined version of this I may try:

Sorry for the photo heavy post. I'm just so happy to have found my spark again!!

Valentines cards...

The challenge over at Scrap Weekly this week was to make a card.  I've never been much of a card maker but I had already downloaded some amazing printables from over at the daily digi files.
I made these cute cards and envelope boxes for us. Kei just has to fill in mine.  It may seem a bit sad making your own valentine's card, but I want to put these as journalling cards on a layout at a latter date!

Scrap Weekly and Simplicity

This month's word for the Simple Things project was SIMPLICITY and this weeks Scrap Weekly challenge was to use tags in your scrapping.  I've been a little behind with my projects and decided to embrace the term of the month and link these two projects this week.
The word, simplicity and all its values, really does hit me straight in the heart. Despite all the things I do, crave for, love and enjoy. The simple things really are those that truly matter!!
I have decided to use a photograph taken on the month of the prompt to signify each word.  This month I used a lovely shot of the statue that stands outside my Craft Shed. It looked so lovely coated in snow, and the statue itself speaks to me of the simplicity of true and unconditional love.

As my Simple Things project is a tag book the Photo and journalling are actually tucked away inside the main 'page'.

I already LOVE this tag book!!

Scrap Weekly Challenge 3

This weeks challenge was to scrap using 'bad' photos. No shortage of those in our house!! We often snap alot of pics using our phone cameras. They look great on the phone, but when you upload them the quality drops and they look all blurry.
The photo I chose to scrap looked blurry even on the phone, so it had no chance when I printed it!!! I love the photo though and I loved the weekend away!!!
I opted for the extra challenges:  adding my title on to the top of my photo, and using non-scrapping items (the tag which I journalled onto was actually a price tag from a dress I bought!!)
This page is going into a 'Me' mini book I started last year.

10 things to do in 2010

I had a sneaky afternoon off work today and what better way to spend it than to scrap scrap scrap to my heart's content!!

I completed the below page for prompt 2 of Scrap Weekly. I'm really happy with it, although since snapping the photos I have added 5 small blue jewels to the top right corner for a bit of added bling.

Although I did this page for SW, it also fits rather nicely in with prompt two of 52 in10. I had planned to do this as a digi project so will still complete a digi page this week (although as I am only just learning that, I am happy to include this page incase things don't got to plan!)

Here is the completed page (minus the extra bling):

Here is a close up of the title...

...the journalling...

and the all important girlie bling for a page about me...
