Old Skool Stash Layout

As part of the Liberty Cottage 'Old Skool Stash' challenge I have created the following layout.
The purple backing paper is my Old Skool stash. It was part of the very first scrapping stash I bought!! I don't know why I haven't used it before as I really do like the paper! I love the butterfly embellishment too. It came from the inside of a Lush bath bomb!!!!
Now I've used it I feel a little blue, feeling that I maybe could have done a little more to show off such beautiful paper. Ah well, I guess thats an excuse to go out and buy more stash ;0)

Well, that's a lovely way to use that great paper!
I do like the torn and rolled border for your picture frame. It's very effective.

The torn paper was my way of trying to salvage a disaster!! I painted the centre of the paper and it looked AWFUL so I cut out the painted section and then tore it a bit to create a frame! I'm so glad it turned out well and people like it!!!

Just want to say 'Ditto'! The torn feature looks like part of an intricate design and it definitely works I love it!

It is really nice and subtle and shows the paper off beautifully - well done!

Thanks for playing along. Hope to do it again near the end of the month to accommodate a class that it is going to be featured in - do join us!

Beautiful! You have been busy with projects and blogging. Everything looks awesome. I too have been contemplating Shimelle's question as I scrapbook. I hope to be able to sit down one of these days and put it down on paper or blog at the very least. I love your interpretation!
