Ah yes, it's a great blessing to have a friend like this. I also have a great friend, who I have known since we were in our teens; we've shared a flat together and also all our major life events - marriages, births, death of parents, family illness, problems and successes, relationships failing etc etc... She's a wonderful person and I am so grateful for her in my life. Just now I have been going to Gloucestershire to see my very ill auntie. I know there is a sofa-bed available for me, whenever I may need it - not to mention an encouraging word, pat on the back, listening ear etc. Praise God for Best Friends!
