Scrappers - advice needed please

Up to date I have always scrapped using the very limited supplies I can buy from our local craft shop and a few kits I have grabbed online.
This year I plan to buy far more pretty papers, embellishments etc to make my scrapping life easier (I find it soooooo much easier to be inspired if I have pretty things to work with, sad but true!!)
Can anyone recommend (via comments or email):
  • Good online shops for paper stash
  • Good online shops for digital kits
  • Good monthly kits
Thanks in advance :0)

Try some of these:

www.bellaboo.co.uk - scrap supplies and kits
www.craft-emporium.co.uk
www.papergourmet.co.uk
www.sarahscardsltd.com (not only card stuff - it's very good for scrapping too!)
www.scrapbookshop.co.uk
www.angelcrafts.biz

Also, try www.docrafts.co.uk for online clearance bargains - they sell the Docrafts ranges only, but I've had some great bargain offers from there!

If you want online kits, www.twopeasinabucket.com are a famous U.S. site, who sell loads of stuff. Postage for goods can be too expensive to bother, but they have a big range of digital kits, from lots of designers (including Shimelle).

Also look around the Blogosphere. http://www.limegreenbogiegirl.blogspot.com/ is the home of Kirsty Wiseman, who does the occasional digi giveaway and sells digi scrapping and card-making stuff, including her CD-ROM "Patti Picklicious" disc, with loads of papers of her own design, which you print at home (or could maybe use in digi scrapping).

http://craftycreation.blogspot.com/2010/01/freebie-kit.html - Here's Mary's latest free kit, which is one of several she has posted recently. It's lovely!

Hope this helps to get you off to a good start! You might also look out for local scrapping "Crops" or clubs, as it's a good place to get information, inspiration and make a few friends.

Happy Scrapping!

I see you have already subbed to the Gogo kit -wise move! I have been subbing for 2 years and have yet to be disappointed.

Jessica Sprague has good digi stuff I believe aswell as 2 Peas already suggested.

www.redartscrapping.blogspot.com has good digi links

Do you go on to UK Scrappers? They have loads of sponsors where you can get links to online shops

I would say don't waste your money on too many "tools".You really don't need them.I scrapped for 2 years out of a bag.Checkout my Flickr you would never know.
Try and find a crop local to you.You will get a kit and maybe a shop there as well.A great way of picking up ideas, techniques and borrowing tools.UKS has the crops on their site
PS scraplift away any of my layouts..
